Overall positive experience

I purchased the Individual Student Plan for my daughter, mainly for the Game Builder course. The setup was straightforward, and she was able to start right away, which was great. The content itself seems well-designed and engaging for kids, and she's genuinely enjoying it. My only minor complaint is that sometimes the website was a little slow to load new lessons, maybe just a few extra seconds, but not a deal-breaker. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about billing, though. Overall, a solid platform and I'd recommend it.

Fun for my kid

I got the Coding Adventure for my son last month. He's 8 and usually gets bored fast, but he really got into the game-based learning. It's been pretty cool watching him figure out the puzzles. He even showed me some of the stuff he learned about coding. Definitely a good buy.

Good value, solid learning

I was looking for something educational but also fun for my kids during the summer break. I signed up for the Family Plan after the free trial. I watched for a sale and got about 30% off the annual subscription, which felt like a really good deal. My two kids are using it for different courses, one with Coding Adventure and the other with Python courses, and they both seem to be learning quite a bit. It's hard to find good quality education for that price point. I think it was worth it for sure.

Thinking about getting this for my 8-year-old. Will it work okay on an older iPad mini, or do I need a newer tablet for them?

R Rachel 1 month ago
Yeah, it should be fine on an iPad. My kids use it on a pretty old one and haven't had any issues. Not sure if there's a super specific minimum requirement though.

I think it usually works on most tablets. I've seen some people say they use it on really old ones without problems, but obviously newer ones will be smoother. Might depend on the specific course too.

Anyone know if they usually do a Black Friday sale? Trying to decide if I should wait to buy a family plan.

C Cleo 2 months ago
Oh yeah, they almost always have a Black Friday/Cyber Monday deal. I got our annual subscription like 30% off last year during that time.

They totally do! I'd definitely wait if you can. They usually have good discounts around then, like 20-40% off annual stuff.
